We got our first look at Piranha Bytes and THQ Nordic’s Sci-fi/Fantasy hybrid game Elex during last E3 and were impressed with the game’s open world third person gameplay. Souls fans of games like Salt and Sanctuary will find a lot to love here. She will make use of weapons and equipment to defeat her foes while using the game’s bonfire mechanic to rest and improve. Inspired by Nordic myths, the heroine, known to this point as the Shield Maiden must unravel the mystery of what afflicts the tree of life and her people. EitrĬoming to PS4 and PC, Eitr, an isometric endeavor in the Soulslike genre from developer Eneme and publisher Devolver Digital combines the top down perspective of Diablo with the crushing station to station combat of Dark Souls and wraps it all in some retro pixel art design. The throwback art style and metroidvania exploration has us feeling nostalgic for old school gaming. You must battle your way through a demon-filled castle summoned by your old friend whose body has become more crystal than flesh. You play as an orphan scarred by an alchemist curse which slowly crystallizes your skin. with intriguing crafting elements that is seen as a successor to the Castlvania, being produced by Koji Igarashi of series fame with Inti Games developing and 505 Games publishing. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Nightīloodstained is an exploration-focused, side-scrolling platformer RPG for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The art style alone has us already captivated.

In Shattered, you will play as the Wanderer seeking lost memories and knowledge from a missing King. The way you play will affect the ending you get and how your character progresses naturally. Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King is an action/platformer with RPG elements, set in a dark universe from creator Redlock Studio for consoles and PC. Never one to rest, we can expect Bungie to amplify what the game is for players, increasing its multiplayer offerings, itemization and story experiences as well as even more events and expansions. What we can anticipate however is a further development of the shared world shooter that has made a huge splash in this current gen of gaming. It’s possible we will hear a surprise reveal for a 2017 release for consoles and possibly even a release on PC.
